TRAINING

          Training is one of the main thrust area in dissemination of Agricultural technology to the farming community. As mandated by ICAR, our KVK has streamlined long and short duration training programmes forcasting  on farmers to update their inate traditional knowledge with institute suited improved technologies, vocational training for Rural Youth to equip them with skills making them successful entrepreneurs and also to the extension functionaries in enhancing their knowledge in Agricultural technologies and technology application in field situation 

OFT

For developing location specific appropriate technologies agro-ecological, socio economic and cultural parameters were fully appreciated. This has paved a way for technology assessment in different micro-environment to suit varied situations through participatory approach by improving scientist-farmers linkage.

FLD

To demonstrate the production potential and benefits of adopting the latest production technology under real farm situation. Emphasis on the missing steps in a partially adopted technology and specifically the integrated and balanced use of critical inputs. To offer an easy access to the most recently developed varieties and their management practices to extension workers and farmers. Provide a feed back to researchers about the constraints in adoptions of new technology

NARI

Nurti-Sensitive Agricultural Research Innovation NARI is the activity work on the concept of linking agriculture to nutrition. This Programme is women centric and is operated by women for women. In order to solve the issues related to the large number of nutrition gap, it is necessary to achieve food security along with nutrition security. Therefore combination of different food items, growing different type of nutritive fruits and vegetables in the kitchen gardens etc. is required
